Early Work:
Harold Thomas continues to be a prolific creator of imagery. From high school years in the 1960’s when he started to be highly influenced by the old masters, to hard edged expressionist oils today in 2025.
More than sixty years of creating art has resulted in a massive body of work encompassing drawing, watercolour, gouache, acrylics and oils. During the 1970’s to 90’s Harold was best known for watercolours of Northern Australian wildlife and landscapes. His signature style exploiting the medium for atmosphere and other-worldly lighting effects.
