With a daub of white, the chroma takes off like a skyrocket. There is no illusion about its capacity to burst across the canvas. Even though it’s a recent addition to the colour palette in academia as a colourist it is a phenomenal primary colour. In most of its usages it is the best to imitate ‘Black’.
